Science and technology is mandatory for all students from Kindergarten to Year 6.

Students from K-6 focus on developing their knowledge, understanding and skills in both science and literacy through a variety of investigations and hands-on experiments all conducted in classroom fully equipped to support their learning needs.
Each term using Primary Connections teaching units, which are fully aligned to the new syllabus, students' study of one of the four strands:
Biological Sciences
Chemical Sciences
Earth and Space Sciences
Physical Sciences
It is through this innovative program that students begin to understand their world and its surroundings.
