All students are able to borrow books from the school library providing they have a library bag and have no overdue books.
Students can purchase library bags from the office for $3.00 or can purchase commercially made bags (available from K-Mart, Big W and other similar commerical outlets). Students are unable to borrow using a plastic bag as these have a tendency to tear. Pillowcases or environmentally friendly material bags (as seen as Woolworths and Coles) are also acceptable to use as library bags. Please ensure that library bags are clearly labelled with your child's name and class ensuring they can be returned if lost.
Students in Kindergarten can borrow one fiction book (story book), students in grades 1 & 2 can borrow one fiction and one non-fiction (information) book and students in grades 3 - 6 can borrow 2 fiction and 2 non-fiction books.
All books are borrowed for 1 week only, should a child wish to keep a book longer they can simply bring the book back to the library and it can be renewed (overdue books cannot be renewed). Books that are damaged or not returned to the library need to be paid for.
